Many times I find that we look to others for support. It’s a type of co-dependence. Originally, I would’ve thought this is all bad. I do think there is a type of co-dependence that is necessary.
When we contemplate the Trinity there are three in one. Even God Himself is co-dependent on two others, and all vice versa.
The operative trait is Love in between all elements that is the grease to the skids.
I was learning about Lithium grease the other day. The lithium grease is able to handle higher heat and resist those things that would make it wear off, much better. I think being more like lithium grease is a good idea :P.
The Love we have should operate based on other-worldly principles, IE those of God. That way, when we are struck with that blow that if our “Love” operates from a selfish perspective may wash off, but when operating in a spiritual-first reality and allowing the energy of God to push through, it’s almost as if it isn’t our love or even us that is struck at all. They are simply striking at a target that has infinite patience, infinite care, etc.
